Homey, eclecticly furnished apartment in historic building with wonderful views

Pros: The location, the owners were accommodating, friendly & went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The apartment is large, airy, completely equipped. We really felt at home

Cons: The building is in desperate need of some serious TLC. In particular the elevator is a bit of a concern

Cons: The lack of window shades to block the sunlight. Quite noisy: sirens, cars and motorcycles racing at night, bells, traffic.

Great Value Stay

Pros: The place was nice. Well decorated, well lit. Really felt like a top floor penthouse, with a lot of sunlight. If you like seeing the sunrise/sunset, the roof on the next floor is easily accessible. If you're planning to do anything around the harbor, the location is amazing. It's a 10min walk to the Catalina Express and a short drive to the Queen Mary. There's Pike's mall right next door and many food trucks around late at night. The amenities aren't the most modern, but they're sufficient for a restful night after a day of exploring. The murphy bed was a bit squeaky, but comfy and it does retract cleanly into the wall, freeing the space during the day. The kitchen has all modern appliances which was great for us to make use of. And the host was very responsive so we were mostly able to get what we needed from them.

Cons: - the elevators in the building aren't the best and can be slightly scary to ride; - water pressure in the bathroom (both shower and sink) wasn't the best;

Stay was comfortable and owners were great with communication regarding property. Would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Location was perfect. Access and walkable to most major areas of interest.

Cons: One flaw was drafty windows due to age of building. Although not a major problem.

Great value for the money

Pros: Great value for the money. The apartment is located near the topmost floor, which provides a beautiful view of the city and the harbor, especially at night. Super great location. The hosts were super awesome too. They responded to questions promptly, and we were really nice. They also put a fruit wine on the bed as a welcome treat. That's a kind gesture.

Cons: The building is quite old. So, don't raise your hopes too high if you're expecting modern amenities or the dazzling feel you'll likely get from the surrounding big hotels like Westin, Marriott, etc... However, remember you're paying probably less than half the price of those hotels for this apartment. So, I'll give this apartment a 10/10 for your money's worth.

Excellent views from an lovely condo

Pros: Amazing views!! So very close to shoreline village, queen mary and the pike. Such an adorably cozy penthouse, I absolutely loved the decor and how clean everything was. Marci was very helpful and very informative, she made us feel welcomed.

Hermosa estadía en Long Beach

Pros: El edificio, bellísimo. La locación, segura y llena de atracciones. El departamento, un sueño. Y fuimos recibidos con un starter pack que incluía bebida y copas para brindar. El departamento es espacioso, y cuenta con una cama Murphy (plegable) en el comedor que permite más personas para dormir. No tuve problemas con el estacionamiento. Si bien no hay espacios asignados, en la calle hay parquímetros que permiten 2h Max por 1.50 ISD la hora... pero es free entre las 21 y las 9 y a la noche siempre hubo lugar disponible. A menos de 100 m hay parking por 16 USD las 24 h. La zona es espectacular, con el paseo marítimo, los restaurantes, un shopping y el Queen Mary de fondo en un lugar seguro, iluminado y cerca (para lo que es LA) del downtown, el Muelle de Santa Mónica/Hollywood Boulevard y de Disneyland en Anaheim. Si vuelvo a LA me alojaré nuevamente alli

Meilleur rapport qualité-prix dans les environs... j'y retournerais sans hésiter!

Pros: Emplacement idéal et central, à moins de 10 minutes à pied du Convention center où j'assistais à une conférence, et une quinzaine de minutes de bons restos et de l'épicerie avec accès facile aux transports en commun. Je n'avais rien à envier aux collègues qui séjournaient dans les hôtels autour, à deux fois le prix! L'appartement est décoré avec soin et goût, avec un souci du détail. C'est très chic, mais en même temps, confortable et accueillant. Autant j'ai apprécié exploré la ville et la plage le jour, autant j'étais heureuse de revenir \

Cons: Quelques détails ont été mentionnés à l'hôte qui va s'assurer d'apporter des correctifs: plaques de cuisson trop grandes pour le four, absence de supports pour suspendre les vêtements... Que cela ne vous retienne pas de réserver: pour le reste, tout était vraiment parfait!

Home away from home.

Pros: This property is amazing. The host is beyond hospitable and always willing to assist if needed. Check-in is easy, as well as check-out. The property is very clean and welcoming. This is the second time they’ve hosted my parents. I will continue to come back next year.
