Romantic & Family Friendly Chalet In The Woods

Relaxing family time in the mountains

Pros: Beautiful chalet with a mountain view and has all the amenities needed to be comfortable with a family. It’s a little bit of a drive up a windy road but very close to Lake Arrowhead’s center. We would stay here again!

Cons: We had one issue with the crib but there was a pack n play also available. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Lovely house that was perfect for my birthday getaway!

Pros: Beautiful house and location. The views were stunning and the house was beautifully appointed. All the rooms were super comfortable, upstairs rooms are air conditioned and my 17 year old son loved having the den / tv room downstairs to himself. We utilized the fire pit and the grill on the deck, which was lovely. The house also had a generator which was great because there was a wildfire in the area and they turned off the power for safety. It was a bit loud but at least we still had full power.

Cons: Parking was extremely tight, which we didn’t know and we drove our sprinter van up there. Other vehicle we had there was a truck. We both fit but it was hard so if you have large vehicles be aware of this.

Wonderful! Cozy and romantic.

Pros: It's tastefully decorated. The basement is set up for reading, tv time or some game time for the kids, while upstairs patio and is ideal for a romantic dinner with a glass of wine by the fire pit. We had a wonderful time and made many memories. We will definitely recommend it to our family and friends and we'll be back. Thank you Maria!!

Cons: Nothing....all good.

Pros: Sweet and comfortable house to host our family of 6 with different bedrooms combination. Nice and thoughtful owner. Quite into the woods and the sunset is stunning. We enjoyed our 2 nights staying

Pros: Everything was wonderful. Location , view, cleanliness.

Pros: Very comfortable and cozy. Had everything we needed.

Cons: The neighborhood roads were sketchy, steep, and only really fit one-way traffic, but was used for both ways. We lived through it though.

A hidden gem!

Pros: This home is lovely and has almost everything you need for a wonderful stay. The view from the top deck is gorgeous, there’s plenty of room for a family to spread out and be comfortable, and the hosts were helpful and communicative. The location is peaceful but you’re still close to the village and other attractions. Would love to stay here again. Note that in the winter, when roads get snowy/icy, the drive up the steep, windy road to this home would be rather unsettling. But for spring/summer/fall, it’s a manageable uphill drive.

9.7/10 would rent again!

Pros: Great location, amazing value for a two night stay in Lake Arrowhead. Very clean property with sweeping breathtaking views of pines. Intentional cabin decor, cozy yet modern. Overall a 9.7/10!

Cons: Only constructive feedback I would offer is a little more thorough cleanliness if you charge a fixed rate cleaning fee. I don’t mind cleaning up and being mindful, but also have cleaners check high and low for food debris on chairs from prior stays and loose game chips from board games. Also could work on more communication during guest stay. I would say a 9.7/10 overall!

Pros: The house had a beautiful view. The owner and his wife were sooo helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed.

Cons: The only thing we would have liked was to have more TVs but other than that everything was great
