Magical

Pros: If you have never been to Big Bear Lake then go. What a place. Grandpa's Axe is a superb house to stay in, just round the corner from the main street and the whole environment has a lovely feel to it. The Hot Tub was excellent, whilst we were in it a Coyote ambled by (behind a fence I should add), gave us an underwhelmed look and walked off! Would recommend for sure.

Cons: The bathroom is small, we had 4 people and it was time consuming as a result. For me, this did not detract from the experience but it is something worth noting.

Beautiful getaway spot close to everything!

Pros: It is a perfect location! It is walking distance to Big Bear Village and about 6 mins away from grocery stores and the lake. The hot tub on the back balcony is wonderful for star gazing.

Cons: It is very dark. Even with all the blinds open - it still feels pretty “cave-like.” The upstairs bedroom streams morning sunlight without blinds. The bathroom is tiny and the toilet handle flushes after some effort. There were no culinary knives (only steak knives) and all the Teflon Pans are thoroughly scratched.

Pros: La ubicacion es perfecta por que no es una calle muy transitada y la casa muy acojedora

Cons: El Tema para tirar la basura fue lo unico pero entiendo que no es culpa del propietario y algo no tan relevante las 2 ventanas especiales del cuarto de arriba no estan cubiertas y entra la Luz en la mañana pero todo esta de maravilla
