Great, safe hotel.

Pros: We left the Vagabond Inn in south Bakersfield as we felt unsafe to stay with children. From the moment we arrived in the lobby we knew we’d made the right decision. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and large. The pool was a good size and even had a small spa. Breakfast was good although some foods like waffles ran out long before breakfast was due to end.

Cons: It might be because of the awful experience we’d just had at a hotel in south Bakersfield but there wasn’t anything to dislike about this hotel.

Pros: This was just an overnight road trip stop for us and I chose it from the many hotels in the area based on other people's reviews. It exceeded my expectations completely for the price that I paid. It was modern, clean and comfortable, the staff were great and the breakfast was good. Plenty of nearby restaurants for dinner and the area felt safe.

Pros: Very friendly staff, and a great hotel for a stopover.

Cons: There's just no outside area around the hotel, which was a little bit pity for us. We didn't realize that when we booked it.
