Big Bear Spa Suites

Pros: Nice and clean place, comfortable bed. Fast communication w/the host. Would stay again.

Pros: The room was very spacious. Nice atmosphere, but the best thing is the large bathtub with hydromassage. The pleasant design of the room itself is conducive to romance and relaxation.

Cons: Overall, I liked the room, but there are a few comments: 1. The floor was a bit dirty, so walking around without shoes was not very pleasant 2. I would have liked to see wine and champagne glasses in the room (there were regular glasses). 3. There was no sharp knife.

Cons: The accomodation was very good , any issue for me was more with the area. The area of big bear is a bit awkward... Ubers are a bit here and there , hard to get, and Uber is worse when it snowed. There is a local cab service though costs more than Uber and demand is very high especially when it snows. And I didn't have boots so it was difficult to get downstairs with a suitcase when it snowed , stairs covered in snow. Maybe the guide book could mention to get boots from eg a local ski shop, just incase. Cos otherwise socks get soaked. I even missed a plane because of transport issues there when it snowed. And the name Big Bear is a tourist trap. I only saw two bears, one black, one brown, and in the local zoo. Though maybe safer that way! The light where the fan was was a bit flickery but it didn't matter as I didn't need or use that light . Didn't need that big fan either. The \

Pros: The room was ready before official check-in time, it was a beautiful space, and great accommodation from the host

Pros: The room was a really good size and the bed was really comfortable. The room was very clean with an abundance of towels to go with the spa in the room .I liked that there was a fire place ( Gas? the pretty type behind glass so no effort needed but gives a romantic vibe & good heat). Netflix was available for free. Parking straight out the front. Looks just like the pictures and would be stunning in winter.

Cons: It is on the main room with no views from the two lower cabins. However we could not hear anything at night when we were in the room.

Comfortable room with good facilities.

Pros: Checkin was convenient (all online) and we would even enter the room a little ahead of checkin time. The room is very large and comfortable, with a microwave and fridge. It is also within walking distance from the Village and from the Grizzly Bear cafe.

Cons: Two minor things. The road can be a bit noisy. The bubble bath in the room felt a little odd (we didn’t use it, as there is another smaller bathtub in the bathroom).

Awesomeness

Pros: The AC was great to have and worked like a charm, (we're big hikers so a crispy cold room was the best treat to return to). Everything was great, spa tubs and coffee and with Netflix.. awesome stay. great host also!

Centrally located gem of a rental!
