Great little route 66 motel

Pros: Does exactly what it says on the tin, handy motel for those on their first or last (depending which way you’re travelling) night of a route 66 adventure The night manager was extremely friendly and helpful

Cons: The shower wasn’t that powerful and the heads need changing, but that’s my only (minor) point. It worked and it was clean.

66 in its hay day

Pros: It was cool and had a wonderful 50s vibe when you pulled into the property and reminded you of 66 in its hay day. The grounds were like a museum with some cool things to look at once you book in you have a parking spot right outside your room and the room is modern inside with all you need and good Aircon a must stop for any route 66 trip.

Pros: We booked this hotel at the last minute when we decided to stay overnight in a classic Route 66 motel, and it turned out to be a great decision. The gentleman at the reception was very kind, and the room was clean, spacious, and well equipped. For the price we paid, we really can’t complain. I would definitely recommend it.

Cons: The only downside was the smell coming from the air conditioning that blew into our room.

Pros: really central location, easy to get to, nice staff with easy check in and out, very clean and newly renovated, lots of space, fun decor around the site!

Cons: a kettle might’ve been nice to have but apart from that all was lovely

Good access, good value for money

Pros: Location was good, walking distance to a bar and a coffee shop. Parking was easy. Check in was easy. Room was a good size and clean enough. Air con was powerful.

Cons: Proximity to road was good for access but bad for noise (not a big deal, but just noted in case you aren't aware). Lighting in room was poor like most motels

Good Value

Pros: For the price it was a clean, comfortable, and convenient room. It was extremely hot in Barstow so I appreciate the AC was on in the room when we arrived and the room stayed nice and cool. It may be a little loud during the night for light sleepers. The interiors are very simple but fairly new and has everything you need. The free wifi worked well.

Cons: Barstow itself and the area.
