Chantico Inn

Pros: Lovely designed hotel, great rooms, lovely big bed and very friendly staff.

Cons: Small thing - a cover in the ceiling was missing from the light and fan fixing.

A beautiful place with real comfort and character

Pros: The room was exceptionally comfortable with it's own hot tub which was a real treat and so incredibly relaxing. The staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. I loved the pool and Jacuzzi, and the inclusion of breakfast within the price was also such a welcome bonus.

Cons: Nothing really. The only little addition I might make would be a wardrobe to hang up clothes and perhaps a few more working drawers in the room.

Pros: We usually stay at another place in town when we visit Ojai to see family. We were so impressed with the Chantico that it will be our first choice in future

Pros: The staff was really nice, helpful and accommodating .They made us feel welcome and appreciated.

Cons: Too much chlorine in the pool. The kids eyes were burning like crazy. We didn’t get back in the pool, as much as they wanted to. You could smell the chlorine from the parking lot. The continental breakfast would better if they added boiled eggs, yogurt, bananas & regular bread for toast or English muffins.

Pros: The room was spacious. Breakfast adequate. Beds comfortable

Cons: Initially did not have coverage for Super Bowl. I went to a local sports bar to watch the game and received a call from Casey that she had purchased the game. I ended up watching the second half in the breakfast room and snacks were provided.

The facility is beautiful and very cozy. The decor is well appointed.

Pros: The room was beautiful with a stained glass window. I was very surprised to have a private patio with table and chairs.The breakfast was spare. Nothing special at all.

Cons: Jets on the jacuzzi were VERY weak. The breakfast was SPARSE.

Great staff, great location, great value.

Pros: Day and Night staff were friendly and helpful. They ran a Happy Hour in the dining area and basic wines, cheese, and crackers were offered as courtesy. Our room was spacious, and the pool was warm while the hot tub was, well, hot.

Cons: I saw a couple spiderwebs in the rafters. No big whoop. I woke up in the middle of the night and noticed a lot of different noises from appliances, that I was able to turn down.
