Little Betty’s Hideaway

Enjoyable wee hideaway in the midst of LA

Pros: The location was central for our needs. Our accomodation was clean and comfortable, and quiet. It is set at the back of the hosts section. Access is up an exterior staircase. Nice little balcony area, view down to alley behind from kitchen & bathroom, and bedroom & living room views overlooking the hosts garden area, which he is busy landscaping. Kitchen was well set up, but we never used it as we were eating out and visiting. Shower was good, although too low for my 6' tall husband - I enjoyed watching a squirrel playing in the alley as I showered. A novelty for a Kiwi girl :-) Michael was a great host, was there if needed but not in your face at all. Had a great conversation with him before we left.

Cons: The bathroom was quite small, suggested to host he changes the door so toilet is less crammed which he said he would do. It was alright for two of us, but prob a bit congested for more. Wifi was ok, but a little glitchy at times. We weren't reliant on it so it was ok for us. Be good to have one less bed in living area and a couch instead to relax in. There was nothing to rest on except the beds.

Great stay!

Pros: Great host. Great location. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Amazingly spacious place with everything you need. Nice little porch and a very nice host as well! Parking is right outside, just a few steps and stairs from the door.

Cons: One room could have a TV perhaps, but we did not miss it because it was really nice to enjoy the warm evenings on the porch.

Great stay, great overall. Personally pleased with a 100 percent with my experience.

Pros: 部屋の中は清潔で、安心して過ごすことができました。 子どもの荷物とあわせて３人分の荷物を広げても余裕のある広さで助かりました。 オーナーのマイケルはとても親切で、毎晩たき火で子どもたちを遊ばせてくれました。 庭が広くて気持ちがよかったです。 私はほとんど英語が話せないのですが、片言の英語にも丁寧に対応してもらえて安心しました。 初めてのアメリカ訪問で、不安も大きかったのですが、こちらに滞在できて本当にラッキーでした。

Cons: 音が響くので、下の階の方には気を遣います。

ECCEZIONALE

Pros: Michael è un proprietario eccezionale, gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. Inoltre abita accanto ed è sempre presente. Posizione ottima a circa mezz’ora max dai posti più belli. L’alloggio è grande, pulito e confortevole e completo delle cose più necessarie per il vivere quotidiano.

Cons: Niente

Pros: The host left a basket of fresh oranges (from the property!) for us in the morning.

Cons: Parking is right in front & free, except for 2 hours a week for street sweeping. Not really a dislike.

Just what I needed!

Pros: I liked how close it was to everything and that the host was very kind! Super clean and comfortable!

Cons: N/A

We would stay again!!

Pros: Full kitchen, convenience from our building we had to be at, peaceful and welcoming.
