Motel 6-Camarillo

Good comfortable stay for the low price for the area it was worth it.

Pros: Surprised there's a pond behind the hotel that is nice. The room was clean and well kept. Bed was about perfect not to hard or soft. Great place for the price.

Cons: Unfortunately the guests and staff smoked a great deal. The staff were good about going away from the hotel so that didn't matter, but the other guests some of them chained smoked right where others had to walk in the smoke to pack, unpack, or be outside nearly all of the time. So if you're not a smoker in the wrong wing of the hotel you may have to contend with this.

Pros: Past 7yrs I stayed in many motels before pandemic things were better after pandemic everything went for worse so many motels and hotels are worse then ever base that sanitation should be more important also homelessness doesn't help the situation much actually this particular location is probably the cleanest of all in 15 miles radius pressure wash the floor should be done once a week floors outside smells badly with all the rates gone up so much sanitation should be way better then it is. I owned my business also been in restaurant management and retail , Camarillo location passed my evaluation by far compared to other locations and other places that I stayed before especially room was absolutely clean thank the workers 😊😊😊👍

Cons: Doors can be cleaned after each stay also including locks and doork nobs

One comfortable night at the right price

Pros: I stayed here for a vacation in August 2023 with my family. Two small kids under the age of two felt safe a little bit of noise as expected cleanliness as expected. It’s a Motel but overall it held my expectations.

Pros: Affordable price…. Very clean… friendly desk receptionist.

We enjoyed our stay and was pleasantly surprised by all the restaurants and shops near by.

Pros: We had a fridge in our room. The smoking area was great looked out over a huge pond with lots of wildlife. Great way to sit and relax.

Cons: The toilet didn't flush very good, you had to hold it down forever until it flushed. One community microwave in lobby.

Pros: We loved the location near Old Town Camarillo and next to a pond with ducks. Parking was good.

Cons: There was a pile of trash outside our room that stayed overnight and wasn’t picked up by the staff until the next day.

My compliments go to Ricky who went out of his way to make me feel comfortable.

Pros: I was welcomed by the manager Ricky. Ricky was extremely thoughtful and eager to please. He was very helpful with food recommendations and area events.

Cons: Unexpected fireworks late at night was a pretty big shock. The hotel is close to the Fair Grounds and special event fireworks happened pretty late at night.

Pros: Nice front desk service and clean spacious rooms for a good budget price.

Cons: They do allow pets but they have a section of the hotel for guests that meet these needs.
