Good hotel to stay for a few nights.

Pros: First time on our roadtrip we had a breakfast that had more variation than smudged eggs toasts. This one was really good and the kids liked it as well. Pool was also nice. Good parking lot as well.

Cons: We stayed multiple nights but housekeeping didn't clean our room. They wanted to fix it and give us at least some clean towels.

Pros: Staying at Best Western China Lake Inn was a convenient and comfortable experience, especially for travelers passing through Ridgecrest or visiting nearby attractions Death Valley. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The rooms were spacious and tidy, with comfortable beds, a mini-fridge, microwave, and good Wi-Fi. The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus, offering hot and cold options to start the day right. The outdoor pool and hot tub were also nice additions, especially after a day of driving or exploring the desert surroundings. The staff was welcoming and helpful, making check-in smooth and offering local recommendations. Free parking and convenient access to nearby restaurants and stores made our stay even more hassle-free. Overall, Best Western China Lake Inn is a great value for the price—perfect for a short stopover or a base for exploring the surrounding desert areas.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Parking, big and free as in many non megacity US hotels.

Cons: Breakfast. After more than 10 US hotels visited it was standard US hotel breakfast, but compared to European hotels breakfast it was disaster. Conclusion forget about real coffee and normal breakfast in US hotels:)

Pros: Easy check-in. Hotel is an ideal location to stop on the way to / from Death Valley. Rooms were very clean and the location was very quiet. Highly recommended
