A hidden gem - I wish we could have stayed longer.

Pros: This property is a total surprise when you arrive - completely stunning inside with beautiful outside spaces as well as delicious food and drinks.

My stay at the cuyama Buckhorn was very pleasant.

Pros: I enjoyed the western theme and that the room was very clean and cozy. The customer service was great. Place was peaceful and most of all there was no smoking. This is a family friendly place.

Cons: That there was no food or dining past 11 pm. We were there for a party and we got back pretty late. We were starving. It would have been nice to have a dinner open to purchase food.

Overall a fabulous place with a great Pool and Bar. Definitely worth a trip.

Pros: Fabulous and nicely updated Motel in the middle of nowhere. The bar and bar tender were amazing and worth a trip alone.

Cons: The AC unit in the room leaked water and needed a bucket underneath to catch it. They advertised free Wi-Fi. While it is free, the reception is spotty at best. We stayed an extra night with the idea of working off site. Don’t, if you are relying Wi-Fi for work.

Lovely gem in the High Desert

Pros: Out of this world location, just in front of the mountains. Gorgeous renovated motel with fantastic restaurant and bar. Love the s'mores kit we received upon check-in. Great outdoor area to view the sunset!

Nice but too expensive for the location.

Pros: The hotel was very nice updated but way too expensive for the location und service even though we stayed 2 days no house keeping. It had to be requested and it was always hard to reach anyone. To get my hold of $100/day I had to call and it took 1 week.

Pros: The whole property is gorgeous and so comfortable.

Cons: I had a problem with the loud country music playing from every speaker outside. The place would have been peaceful and perfect without it.

Pros: A quiet low key place away from crowds and traffic

Cons: The website showed a sauna which I didn’t see but there was a hot tub spa which we loved and is better than a sauna anyway.

Peaceful Getaway

Pros: Loveliest spot to spend the night if you are looking for peace and quiet. Friendly staff, great food, amazing clean facilities. This was our second stay and I would come back any time.

This is a bit out of the way, but a super cute spot. Would come back.

Pros: The pool is great. Bartender amazing. Really beautiful.

Cons: Bed felt much smaller than a queen. The place was pretty empty, but was put next door to kids. Seems like spacing people out when space allows would have been a smarter choice.
