Whittier Travel Inn

Great location to shopping and food.

Pros: Great location close to our grandkids. Room smelled good and was clean. Bathroom was well stocked and also clean. Our room was on the 1st floor. They had USB plugs. Mini fridge is always a plus, it's should be standard in all rooms at all hotels now. No bed bugs!

Cons: Parking sucked. They have a sign that states only one car per room. That sounds reasonable. But there were way more cars than only one per room. If we had come back from visiting 15 minutes later, we would not have had a parking spot. The doors are hard to close. You have to push hard and it makes a very loud banging noise. You could hear doors banging close till 3 am. Street traffic is extremely loud. Maybe double pane windows would help. They shut off the internet on us an hour and a half before we had to check out. We were in the middle of checking the weather for our travel back home. This is not the 1st hotel we have stayed at that has done the same thing.

Pros: The lady at the front desk was the sweetest ever. A very helpful and kind lady! I will be going back there again

Pros: The ratio of price and quality. The room was surprisingly very clean, comfortable bed

Cons: Outside, in the corner of the parking lot, there was a slight smell of sewage or something like that

Pros: Hi bathroom was nice and the room was nice and closet i didn't really watch much TV so I don't know what's on but overall good experience

Cons: I didn't like that after paying online for the room I had to make a deposit to them even after I paid for the room

Pros: The location was good gas was near, grocery store, speedys. The staff was excellent, nice, & pollite. The room was clean. My family and I were very satisfied with our stay especially for the price. I was able to check in early with a small fee. Deposit was a very good price compared to others. The only thing was one of the beds was a little too firm. But other then that I would completely recommend and stay again! Also we had to leave at 3am and the lady was very understanding and trusted us with giving our deposit early.

Cons: Just that one of the beds was a little to firm.

Comfortable for the value

Pros: Proximity to where I had go go, bathroom was modern and clean

Cons: A/C malfunction, had to change rooms.

Love it differently better then other hotels

Pros: I love everything about this hotel the lady in the front was super nice the rooms are nice and clean smelling good and everything is on point

Cons: I don’t have anything that I didn’t like I loved everything about this holte

Pros: Everything Clean Quiet Comfortable Affordable The Owner Older women was very pleasant, professional, accommodating. What I liked the most was she explained the TERMS & CONDITIONS of DEPOSIT RETURN. Which I thought was Excellent on her part to let me know exactly what is expected from all guest who choose to stay at the Travel Inn. RESPECT PEOPLES PROPERTY Her smile made me smile. Thank you.

Cons: No complaint 🙂

Cons: The AC was a bit loud.
