It was good
Pros: The location was great, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Common areas, bathrooms, and toilets were clean and sufficient. Overall, I liked it, and having a private parking lot was a major advantage
Cons: Overall, I was satisfied. The only issue was the person in the lower bunk of my room, who was constantly moving around like hyperactive every five secondsโฆ I stayed quiet to avoid any problems, but that was the only negative part of my stay, and it wasnโt the hostelโs fault anyway

Pros: Nice and clean place in Korea town close to bus stops and within 15mins away from metro
Cons: The walls next to bathrooms seem to be very thin because we could hear every little thing

I stayed there 4d3n and everything was just great
Pros: With that amount of money, I think the property is the best option I have. Just 10 mins walking distance to the metro and 2 mins walking distance to the convenience store makes everything so accessible
Cons: I love everything pretty much!

Pros: 8th and Ardmore Hostel is a cozy place where you can meet not only travelers from around the world, but also locals who make the experience even more interesting. The location is great โ close to Koreatown and public transportation, making it easy to explore Los Angeles. The vibe here is relaxed and social, perfect if you want to make new friends or just share stories with others during your trip. Facilities are clean, the staff is helpful, and the atmosphere feels more like a shared home than a hotel. Definitely a good option for budget travelers looking for a real L.A. local experience!
Cons: One small suggestion: the owner could consider moving Bedroom #1 (currently a female room on the first floor) upstairs, and instead assign the first-floor room for male travelers. This room is located right next to the dining area, where meetings and conversations often happen. While the meetings are usually helpful and never bothered me personally, I noticed that some guests were less tolerant of the noise and even reacted rudely to others. Moving the female room upstairs and using the first-floor bedroom for males could create a more comfortable experience for everyone.

A confortable stay in attractive location
Pros: Good location, close to many bus connections and a 10-min walk from the metro station (3 metro stops to downtown LA). Rooms and common spaces were clean and well-maintained - the kitchen was fully equipped. The fridge and closet with hangers in the room were a great commodity! It was nice to hang up some clothes and have some space to store the luggage so that it wouldn't clutter the room. Shower gel was provided, which was great, but bring your own towel (it doesn't come with the booking, I think you can get one for a fee but I didn't ask). Bring a padlock too for the locker.
Cons: The water in the showers could have been warmer - it wasn't cold, but it wasn't exactly hot, either. Have a towel ready nearby to wrap up after the shower :)
