Nice hotel, but some letdowns

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at Cambria Hotel Calabasas. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the location is perfect if you want to stay outside the busy city. It’s quiet, comfortable, and nicely designed. The front desk staff came across a bit unfriendly, but the restaurant staff were warm and welcoming. One downside was the $19 per day parking fee, which felt a bit steep. All in all, a great place to relax—just a few small things to keep in mind.

Cons: A few things were disappointing. The $19 per day parking fee felt excessive, and the front desk staff wasn’t very friendly, which impacted the overall experience. On the bright side, the restaurant staff were kind and helpful.

Beautiful hotel within easy reach of lots of North LA locations

Pros: Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, good deck area for drinks and food. Great food menu.

Cons: Pool is a bit small and shallow.

Excellent stay. Lovely staff. Well designed modern hotel.

Pros: The rooms are lovely. Well thought out with nice design touches. With 4 of us in the room there was still plenty of space. Shower and bathroom was lovely too. Staff were all delightful. The pool was great.

Cons: The pool area could do with being tidied up and cleaned more regularly. We felt that used food and drinks were left too long creating wasps. One of us was stung when in the pool.

Ideal stop over outside of Malibu and Los Angeles, with great facilities and superb rooms

Pros: Very new and clean in a good location allowing easy access to Malibu beaches and Universal Studios etc. but away from all of the hustle. Great parking and superb staff on the front desk.

Cons: The reception/bar area turned night club on Saturday night. But I’m not really complaining too much… people were having a great time as we returned to the hotel after a long day sightseeing, and the music stopped a few minutes after 9pm as advertised. Any later we may have felt different as our whole family needed sleep. Don’t let this put you off… it was two hours on a Saturday night.

It doesn't get much better - we love this hotel.

Pros: Spacious room with very comfortable beds. Air-conditioning thermostat that actually worked, making for a comfortable temperature during our entire stay. Swift and easy check-in. Very friendly and helpful staff in all departments. Spacious shower, first class amenities. Only a few minutes walk to a number of restaurants and a great supermarket. During our 23-day trip through the western USA this was by far the best hotel we stayed at. Only 30 minutes drive to Universal Studios (if you avoid rush hour) and ca 25/35 min to Malibu/Santa Monica beach if you take the scenic route via Las Virgenes Road and Highway 1. We will be back. Thank you to all staff at Cambria Hotel Calabasas!

Beautiful overall but improvements needed

Pros: Beautiful hotel with a lovely vibe to it. Reasonable amount. Very clean inside the hotel

Cons: The pool was quite dirty which was very surprising. The menu online from the QR code had significantly different prices to the paper menu which caused a big issue at dinner when the bill was 30% more expensive than expected. They are doing price hikes but only in the middle of it. Very surprising. But overall 7/10

Well designed and family friendly hotel in good location

Pros: Well designed hotel in good location. Close enough to everything when driving. Loved the pool, food and drinks selection.
