Palihotel Hollywood near Universal Studios

Stylish and affordable

Pros: A boutique, boujie hotel with an effortlessly cool vibe. The room was immaculately clean with a super comfortable bed, a gorgeous colour palette, and retro touches like a Smeg fridge. Perfectly located near major Hollywood attractions. The pool area is beautifully designed and, even in winter, is a lovely spot to soak up the morning sun.

Cons: There was very little not to like. Despite some initial hesitation after reading previous reviews, as a self-confessed fussy critic, I genuinely couldn’t fault this hotel.

Greatest Hotel Ever!!!!!

Pros: This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Rooms and overall facilities are beautiful. Food and drinks are also well above what is expected.

Great location and quick walk to Hollywood Blvd.

Pros: Great location, especially as a solo traveller. Staff were friendly and helpful, being of great assistance when I had to book an extra night because of flight delay. In n Out next door is handy for a snack.

Cons: Not dislike per se, but my room wasn’t serviced at all during my stay. I didn’t need it cleaned but I was unaware if I had to put up a please make up my room sign or if it was just done default. Might be helpful to let guests know what is expected.

Pros: Overall we quite liked our stay. Even some things were missing (shower products, hairdryer), they were imidiately replaced upon our request. Same thing about housekeeping, when our room wasn’t cleaned we asked, and the receptionist told us that it is upon request. Staff was helpful and kind. He put us on the daily list and it was okay. We loved the location and the design.

Cons: It is indeed an old motel with a layer of fresh paint over it.. There is room for improvement to make it feel less cheap, and much cleaner

Pros: Hotel is really pretty, located close to Hollywood Boulevard; however, it was very quiet. Staff was very supportive in case of any problems. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay!

Pros: Location was great! Staff was kind. Rooms were comfortable.. and it was overall a cute place to stay at. They even let us store our luggage after check out.
