Perfect venue for a family trip to Universal Studios

Pros: Staff super kind and helpful, quite and comfortable room, walking distance from Universal Studios which makes it perfect to visit the park plus the hotel offers a free shuttle service for the nearby Universal City Walk area with many restaurants and shops, really convenient. I had a great stay.

Cons: It took more than 1h to ride from and to the airport, and traffic in LA is horrible. Location is perfect if you’re visiting Universal Studios, Warners Bros studios, the Griffith observatory and West Hollywood but I would not suggest to pick this Hotel if you plan to visit more of LA. In that case consider to combine a stay here with a stay elsewhere.

Great hotel to stay for Univeral especially and exploring Hollywood near by.

Pros: Very central for exploring the movie parks and good local area for restaurants. Buffet breakfast was excellent although expensive. Very comfortable beds! Very helpful and friendly staff.

Cons: Feels a bit dated in decor.

Amazing location and views!

Pros: Location is terrific! The closest hotel to Universal, it has some up/down hills while getting there but it's a 10min walk, perfect for park people or whoever wants to go to Universal City to walk around or grab a bite. The room is super spacious and the bathroom too, everything was very clean and the bed was soooo comfy, makes it difficult to actually leave it! Highlight for me though was the view *-* Universal City lights during the night are so beautiful and being able to see Hogwarts, Hogsmead and other places inside the park was a big plus, I was happy just looking out the window. Oh the hairdryer was terrific too! Out of 4 hotels we stayed in LA it was the only one with the narrower nozzle, it made my hair look great haha my hairdryer doesn't work in the US (different voltage) so I depend on hotel's hairdryer and this was one the best!

Cons: Lowlights were the water pressure, the shower took about 5min to heat up too and the room was a bit poorly lit, but not a big deal.

Great location for visiting Universal Studios

Pros: Loved being so close to Universal Studios. We took the complimentary shuttle bus the first time we went to the park, but once we worked out how to walk we just did that every time. The room was really comfortable and the bathroom was also really nice.

Cons: We lined up for a really long time waiting to check in, and then again when our room was ready we had to wait in a long line to get our room keys. Usually these days check in is a really quick process, so the length of wait we had was surprising.
