Sea Blue Hotel

Since every accommodation is quite expensive in that area it was decent.

Pros: I loved the location, so close to beach and Santa Monica pier. Hotel was decent but expensive for what it was.

Cons: It was quite noisy as walls were paper thin.

Fun and fabulous

Pros: The location was amazing. Straight down the path to the great Santa Monica beach and pier!

Cons: Was a little loud as we were downstairs and could hear people walking upstairs

Great location, property felt safe and clean.

Pros: Location was amazing, property felt safe. Clean rooms that were cozy. Friendly and helpful front desk staff.

Cons: Walls were thin, construction going on within property which started early in the morning which was noisy.

Fantastic location for a Santa Monica beach experience with friends or family

Pros: The hotel is located about 100m from the beach. Plenty of nice places to eat within walking distance. My room was at the back so there was no traffic noise. Bed was very comfortable.

Cons: Bathroom was a bit old fashioned. Not a fan of the bath/shower. Would have preferred just a shower.

Pros: Great location, walking distance to the pier. The staff are very welcoming. Bathroom was a little small. Had to sit on the toilet sideways. Apart from that pretty good.

Cons: Toilet area was small.

Good hotel. Needs better in room facilities. Santa Monica no longer has beachside surfer feel.

Pros: Manager very kindly bought us a kettle and ceramic mugs to brew our own tea. As Brits we love our Tetley tea! Nice large quirky room. We miss the Hotel California which this establishment was called! Nice size in room fridge.

Cons: At this price point, rooms should have small microwave, and at minimum one of those automatic single coffee cup makers. Having to go to reception is a pain. Not fault of Seablue but Santa Monica has changed. Feels less welcoming very expensive and draconian parking rules. Gone irritatingly upmarket, snooty & self satisfied. Used to be more small businesses, now many fancy restaurants charging fancy prices. All that's left is around Main St but try parking as overseas visitor using cards that either don't work in meters or charge exorbitant FX fees. Plethora of complicated rules even if you succeed!

A great little hotel in a perfect location.

Pros: A great little hotel minutes from Santa Monica pier. Lovely beach vibe. Easy parking.

Convenient location and great hotel lovely n clean

Pros: Was able to leave bags in lobby all day while we were out and about … staff very helpful and always at reception , great location right near beach and pier , rooms were clean loved the surf board deco had everything you need in room hair dryer ironing board fridge snacks shampoos creams ect I couldn’t fault anything really

Great Value and Location

Pros: Location was great, back of building is right on beach front and has a walk through gate Rooms are good sized and clean

Cons: Although room was clean there was a musty smell to it No Tea and Coffee facilities in room, it is available free from reception but that does mean getting up and dressed to go and get it of a morning

Pros: Very nice staff there. The room was clean and I liked everything inside. Only a short walk to Santa Monica Pier. After check out I could let my baggage and car there till till 2pm. Thank you
