AC Hotel by Marriott Downtown Los Angeles

Very good and clean hotel with friendly staff

Pros: Comfortable and clean rooms. Good breakfast at coffee shop on the ground level. Helpful staff. Snack shop open 24/7.

Cons: Would have liked bigger water bottles stocked in the fridge so I did not have to get more water from reception or from water stations.

Great stay

Pros: Spacious, clean room. Very friendly staff. Public transport is closeby. Nice gym.

Cons: Breakfast is very expensive if not included in your stay.

Honeymoon in LA

Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very modern and clean. The shower was excellent and the TV had netflix and amazon etc.

Cons: Having to get 2 lifts to get in or out through the neighbouring hotel was inconvenient. The breakfast was mediocre and when we were asked what coffees we'd like, they never arrived. Apparently it was a staff policy that they couldn't remove the tip so we didn't eat at the hotel again.

An exceptionally good hotel!

Pros: The staff at reception were brilliant! I was delighted to be allowed to check in very early during the day. The check-in and check-out processes were very smooth and took a minute or so! I am particularly grateful to Dianna, Antonio and Ashley for having been amazingly kind, polite and welcoming. On several occasions I bumped into Antonio who spoke to me as if we had known each other for a long time - a genuinely friendly person! The cleaners of my room (#3136) did a great job everyday and the staff at the hotel entrance were remarkably kind. The hospitality was incredible! The panoramic view of Los Angeles was breathtaking. I was pleasantly surprised that the Pico metro station was a stone's throw away from the hotel. The hotel is also within walking distance to downtown Los Angeles. Within minutes of arrival at the hotel, I found several grocery shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pharmacies nearby. A truly wonderful experience!

Cons: I would have preferred to use only one elevator to go directly from my room floor (31st floor) to the ground floor rather than first go to the sky-lobby on the 34th floor and then descend to the ground floor, and vice versa.

Very good hotel

Pros: Comfortable room, great breakfast and restaurant. People at front desk very kind at gentle.

Cons: The room is comfortable but the open bathroom is not very private.

LA 2025

Pros: Nice view, smiling staff, comfortable bed. Nice pool and place to relax.

Cons: I experienced some disappointing service issues during my stay. On multiple occasions, I had to wait two days for room cleaning and ended up reporting it twice to both reception and housekeeping, which is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. The terrace furniture, particularly the sofas, was wet and somewhat dirty, giving an unkempt impression. It often felt like there was no staff presence at all — the terrace bar was empty, and the same applied to the pool area. Opening hours are limited. There were also no coffee options available on-site; I had to go downstairs to the neighboring Moxy hotel just for a cup of coffee.

A wonderful experience ✨️

Pros: The scenic view from my 33rd floor room facing Pico Metro station, overlooking swimming pools & the convenience just across the Los Angeles Convention Centre. Loved the AC sky lounge & Rooftop restaurant. The complimentary ticket to the Grammy Museum was a great treat.

Cons: The fact that the swimming pool was not accessible on weekend afternoons.

Awesome location and hotel

Pros: Everything about this hotel was great! The location is top as we stayed to visit a Lakers basketball game at Crypto.com arena which is literally 5 min walking distance. The hotel and room is very clean and tidy. It seems very new too. The beds are comfortable and room offers great views of Downtown LA. It also has a nice open rooftop bar with stunning views! The staff are also very friendly.

Cons: The LA traffic!

Pros: Absolutely amazing stay! The service was exceptional, the room was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious every single morning. A huge thank you to the staff for the stunning city view — it made our experience truly unforgettable! Highly recommend this hotel.
