Hampton Inn & Suites Sherman Oaks

Pros: the service and the crew are excellent! very clean. they have parking.

Good location for exploring LA

Pros: The location is perfect for a nice getaway! We have visited LA during weekdays and it was ideal, because of the promixity of the city's most highlights. It was just a few minutes away from the highway connecting Santa Monica or Venice Beach. Still a nice area, calm with some restaurants nearby.

Clean and comfortable

Pros: Second time staying here. Parking and breakfast are included which is rare in LA. Hotel is clean and comfortable

Cons: Area doesn’t feel very safe. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have a car

Warm interesting decor and friendly staff

Pros: While many hotel chains have gone to cold grey decor, this Hampton had an old Hollywood theme and warm, inviting colors and textures. Plus the staff went above and beyond to be helpful, particularly Sam at the front desk. My husband was recovering from back surgery and Sam insisted on helping him get into the car and loaded our luggage into the back.

Cons: Can think of anything.

Confortable, but relatively low value for money...

Pros: Location, close to Bel Air and Beverly Hills. Facilities are quite new / well maintained. Decoration is modern. Beds are really confortable. Breakfast is quite Ok, because there are waffles (otherwise the offer is quite limited).

Cons: Very long check-in (computer was very slow/not working properly, need to give postal address, etc...). We have been disappointed by the breakfast (very limited offer, 1 type of yogurt, very limited number of fruits, no viennoiseries...), without mentioning the paper plates and cutlery made of plastic...

Pros: We love every time that we stay in Sherman Oaks Hampton Inn and Suites. Specifically when we are able to get a suite to stay, because it is comfortable for us that some of us are in a wheelchair and we stay for the surgeries of my kid. She loves to stay at Sherman Oaks Hampton Inn and Suites.

Cons: We didn't like that the bathroom in our most recent stay was small and only a tiny glass shower stall.

Can’t wait to stay here again!

Pros: Super close to Universal Studios Hollywood. It smelled incredibly clean as soon as we walked into our room, it felt very well kept. The breakfast was really delicious, and the staff was all so kind and attentive. This has definitely become a must stay.

Cons: The parking situation was a little difficult, but not a dealbreaker

Convenient to restaurants, Petco and Target. 24 hr Dennys across the street and walkable restaurants Free parking, nice

Pros: Extremely friendly staff especially Sam, the exceptional manager and Merva in the breakfast area. They go out of their way to make you comfortable.

Good stay, somewhat pricey

Pros: It worked for our purposes very well being conveniently located between UCLA and Universal Studios. The breakfast was nice with waffle maker and many other options. The parking was good and plenty.

Cons: Nothing to complain about re room and other amenities. The area near freeway looked a bit dodgy. But then It’s America, no-one stays in a hotel to then take walk around.

This is one of the best hotels I ever stayed, they accommodate all my issues.

Pros: The staff and the manager. House keeper hotel staff and hotel service were excellent, the facility was clean and well equipped, breakfast was excellent.
