American Hotel

Pros: The location was perfect! Facilities were as basic but you get all you need and could expect. Shared bathroom was very clean. Didn't bother me at all!

Cons: The picture on booking.com were not about the hotel it self so I had no idee what to expect. But after all everything was pretty good 👍

Pros: Amazing Location , near the metro and Japanese neighbourhood with lots of shops and food options.Felt always very safe within the arts district . Lots of cafes too.

Cons: Nothing , completely exceeded my expectations.

A great hotel with history in one of the most up-and-coming areas in LA a lot of great restaurants nearby it’s the place

Pros: first of all location is good five minutes from Little Tokyo, five minutes from Union Station, which connects to the whole of Los Angeles. It’s easy to get anywhere from the location that it’s in. all the staff at this hotel are actually absolutely first rate you don’t need a big flashy HOTEL these people know what they’re doing. They’re kind they’re helpful and a winning to go the extra mile if you have any problems, it’s nice to see that every single member of staff actually cares about what they’re doing and the building the building is very famous and if you read it history this is where you should stay also, as I said before, the hotel is super secure the rest assured that no one is getting in unless they absolutely have to be there

Cons: there’s nothing wrong with this HOTEL there’s nothing to say negativity. It’s run very well. It’s safe, especially for single people traveling on their own.

Pros: Easy check-in and check-out; clean and presentable; spacious room and very comfortable bed; very close to a convenience store, coffee shops, restaurants; walking distance to little tokyo. a good manageable walk towards the union station. great staff, too. they secured my stuff that i forgot at checkout. appreciate that so much. I'll be coming back to this place on my next visit to LA.

Pros: The property is clean, good value in terms of balance between price and comfort. Room was clean with immaculate view to the Downtown LA.

Cons: The property could benefit by an in house laundry for the guests use.

Pros: We had a great experience at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect — just a short walk from Little Tokyo Station, which made it very easy to get around. Masuma is working in the front office and she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful through our stay. All the compliments and kind words go to Masuma! I highly recommend the American hotel!

Pros: The location, the facilities and the staff. The receptionist Masuma is very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Nice hotel with good rooms. There are shared bathrooms but they big and clean

Pros: Hotel is close to cafeteria and other food places. Close to little Tokyo which is a minor sightseeing spot in itself. A supermarket is close by too to buy drinks or food. If you travel with public transportation a metro station is not far away either which brings you to the walk of fame or Santa Monica. The art district is nice to explore in itself.

Pros: I stayed just for one night, but it was okay, good location.
