This hotel is in a very convenient downtown location and offers great facilities.

Pros: The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is great if you need to use Union train Station. The restaurant (Justice Tavern) is quiet with a good menu. The food was excellent. On arrival at the hotel, the warm cookies are a nice touch. The rooftop Japanese Garden is charming and should be used more, perhaps as a daytime café. While not part of the hotel, the 7-11 across the street is really handy to stock up on essentials.

Cons: The in-room tea and coffee facilities are a bit sparse. They are really only sufficient for a couple of cups of tea/coffee for each person per day. It would be nice if the hotel provided more portions of tea, coffee and milk as a matter of course.

Friendly & helpful staff, clean, fantastic restaurant, and a delightful rooftop garden.

Pros: We had stayed here for 1 night on 18 December 2025, and liked it so much, we booked again for 1 night, 21st January 2026. We flew in and out of LAX, and spent 99% of our trip in NY and Wisconsin, so just needed a stop before/after flights. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the place is clean, and the roof garden is delightful. I had accidentally left my jacket behind after our first stay, and when I rang the hotel, they immediately located it and held it for me, and would have held it for 3 months while we figured out how to collect it. Once we booked the second night, we picked it up then. The helpful staff made arrangements and I had my jacket quick smart.

Pros: It was in a great downtown location, close to all of the major transport links so it was easy to get around. The room was big and we felt we had plenty of room despite 4 of us sharing a Queen Double. There was a good selection of channels on the TV.

Cons: You have to sign up to the wifi which, once done, was fine as you get 7 days free but for an establishment such as this I was surprised it was such an over the top procedure. There was no Netflix on the TV which was a surprise.
