Sonesta Redondo Beach and Marina

Mixed weather in LA!

Pros: The location is great. We had a good room with a sea view. the housekeeping was excellent. The lobby is very pleasant with a very nice bar. concierge very helpful as are all other front of house staff.

Cons: A big feature of this hotel is the extensive pool area. This area was closed. I do not recall any notice being given of this until we arrived poolside and found it empty, together with a selection of building materials, barriers etc. We had a week of bad weather so didn't miss much but the temperature reached mid 20s the previous week and the following week.

Pros: Beds are very comfortable and the location so close to the beach is top

Cons: Too expensive for what u get in return,, especially parking 40 USD a day is insane. California has become way too expensive and we Europeans feel it, as more US travellers are spending their vacation in Europe or Asia

Hotel by the sea

Pros: Nice location, we stayed here for one night, wish it was longer.

Cons: Parking was a bit expensive

Pros: booked ocean view king.... reception first put us in side room partial ocean view ,not what l booked. have stayed there over 20 years. called reception, given correct room straight away. so very pleased... love the location ,miss rubies and the classic car show , but still very happy there. great location.

Cons: the parking fee is a bit over the top. 40 us dollars a night.

We truly enjoyed the night at Sonesta in Redondo beach. It was an excellent experience

Pros: The hotel facilities were extremely good. The lobby area with bar but also an area to have an office call quietly were very good. I did not use the pool but the gym was okay. The view was nice and Downtown was 20-30 min away. Long Beach as well. Staff was friendly and helped with packing some oversized toy we bought and could not fit in the suitcase. Thank you!!

Cons: The coffee is bad but I think this is an American thing. No judgement.

Pros: Like Lobby Bar, Lobby isspacious, room is big, especially, lucky to meet Venezuela soccer team on the day!

Pros: I was attending Beachlife Festival and it was across the street, perfect! Nice big room, on the street side, could not hear the music from the beach at all when I needed rest. The lobby was really animated because of the Festival which was fun. The buffet at Sol was pretty great, lots of options, but not included.

Cons: Being served drinks in plastic cups at the lobby bar.

Comfort by the Seaside

Pros: Very clean, lovely room, great location overlooking the ocean, friendly helpful staff and nice bar facilities.

Another enjoyable stay at this hotel.

Pros: Great staff. Good looking hotel, clean throughout. good location.

Cons: Availability of a knowledgeable Concierge was a bit random this time.
