Delightful historic hotel with charming ambiance.

Pros: Love older hotels with charm and history. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great for walking around town. New Year's Eve dinner in the Italian restaurant was very festive and tasty.

Cons: Most restaurants in Santa Paula were closed on New Year's Day.

Pros: The location is very convenient, just a few mins walk to the main street with restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed the style and decoration of the Inn, very nice! The bartender seems to hand-pick the wines, and gave us a great recommendation. The room was really nice, comfy bed, quiet.

Recommended to stay, a nice historic hotel, away from the usual stream of tourists

Pros: A nice historic hotel in the center of small town Santa Paula. We particularly enjoyed talking to the bartender, an experience of its own. The room was nice and tidy. The area is clean and safe.

Cons: The hotel could indicate where the parking lot is.

Pros: The room and Inn was beautiful and the staff was wonderful

Great little one night stay

Pros: We loved the decor in the lobby and corridors. We did take a peek on the 3rd floor as we were in a ground room. Loved the spooky feel but we didn't encounter any ghosts during our stay (thankfully!) The hotel was a short walk from the centre which was good for eating out.

Cons: The parking sign was hard to see when driving and we ended up going past a few times. The curtains in the room also let a lot of light in- need black out curtains.

Cons: Due to the buildings age I don’t think they could change the step up to bathroom and toilet.

Pros: The hotel itself is a beautiful space. Love the lobby aesthetic and the outside space is very beautiful. Also in prime location which is a plus. Love the history of the hotel!

Cons: The room didn’t have a microwave or fridge. I wish the hotel would’ve had the same aesthetic vibe. It’s an old hotel I know but the room didn’t have the same vibe as the rest of the property.

Lovely Experience

Pros: Beautiful historic hotel. We got there close to Christmas and it was a beautiful sight! A lot of love and care was put into all the lights and decorations. We had the shrimp risotto for dinner and it was amazing. We will be back!

I would stay there again.

Pros: The atmosphere and ambience. The prints lining the hallways. The dark wood features. Modern stays lack character. Glen tavern is full of charm.

Cons: The staff seemed bothered when people would walk up and down the stars since they make a lot of noise
